DISSOLVE AND LIQUIDATE YOUR COMPANY WITH BULGARIA INSURANCE

Before the Treaty of Accession of Bulgaria to the EU in 2007 there were rules and regulations that prevented foreigners owning land in Bulgaria.

Since then the laws have changed for EU citizens and now they are allowed to acquire regulated land plots on their personal names and, since 01.01.2014, EU citizens are also allowed to buy agricultural lands on their personal names without the need of forming of a company. For all other foreign persons, who are not citizens of EU or EEA countries, the overall restriction to buy land in Bulgaria is still valid.

Many UK citizens prior to 2007, set up a Bulgarian company for the sole purpose of purchasing their land and property. These companies, even if the property or land has been sold and the company is free of assets, have an annual obligation to complete and submit their tax declaration and financial report.

For those wishing to stop paying yearly accountancy fees and reduce the amount of property taxes there is the option to dissolve and liquidate the company.

The dissolving of an empty company will cost 400 BGN

If you are one of these people and you wish to dissolve your company, then please get in touch by completing the form below for further information.
